Reading Time on a Clock

  • A clock has two hands: the short hand is the hour hand, and the long hand is the minute hand.
  • When the minute hand is at 12, it is 'o'clock'.
  • When the minute hand is at 6, it is 'half past' the hour.

  • a.m. means from 12 midnight to 12 noon (morning time).
