Why do we need more energy to run than to walk?

Running needs more energy because we move faster and cover more distance in less time. More force and movement mean more work, so more energy is used.
How do cars get energy to run?
Answer
Cars get energy from fuels like petrol or diesel. When the fuel burns in the engine, it releases energy that makes the car move.
What are the different forms of energy?
Answer
The main forms of energy are: Heat, Light, Sound, Electrical, and Mechanical energy. Each helps us do different kinds of work.
