Total Credit = Initial Increase in Deposit × 1/Cash Reserve Ratio

500 = 100 × 1/20%

Cash Reserve = 20% of 500 = Rs.100

Loan Amount = 500 – 100 = Rs.400

100 × 1/10% = 100 × 1/10/100 = 100 × 10 = Rs. 1000
