Classification of Diseases

  • Diseases are broadly classified into Infectious (Communicable) and Non-Infectious (Non-Communicable) diseases.
  • Infectious diseases are caused by pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, helminths) and are transmitted through air, water, food, physical contact, or vectors.

Bacterial Diseases
