1Make a map showing the different places in your school. Make a key for the symbols used in the map. Hide some objects in these places. Mark the positions where things are hidden with red dots or flags. Now, challenge your friends to find the hidden things by reading the map.Show solution
This is a hands-on activity. Here is how to complete it step by step:

Step 1 – Draw the map:
- Draw a rough outline of your school on paper (or grid paper).
- Mark important places: classrooms, library, playground, canteen, principal's office, washrooms, garden, etc.

Step 2 – Make a Key (Legend):
Create symbols for each place, for example:
- 🔲 = Classroom
- 📚 = Library
- 🌳 = Garden/Playground
- 🍽️ = Canteen
- ⭐ = Principal's Office

Step 3 – Hide objects:
- Hide small objects (eraser, pencil, etc.) in 3–4 locations in the school.

Step 4 – Mark on the map:
- Place red dots or small flags on the map at the exact locations where objects are hidden.

Step 5 – Challenge friends:
- Give the map to a friend and ask them to find the hidden objects using the map and key.
