Common Mistakes to Avoid

Decimal degrees can be read directly from the table without converting the fractional part into minutes and seconds.

One degree has 100 minutes because decimal numbers often use base 10.

The ten minute columns in the trigonometric table are a complete 0' to 54' list in steps of 6, so 30' must also be present automatically.
