2. Relative Pronouns and Relative Adverbs

- which is used for things.
- that can usually replace both who and which.
3. Use of that
- that can normally replace both who and which.
- that is compulsory after superlative adjectives.
- that is compulsory after words like all, any, anything, none, nothing.
4. Omission of who, which, and that

- They cannot be omitted when they are the subject of the relative clause.
