  • Cryptarithm is a type of mathematical game consisting of numbers whose digits are represented by letters.
  • The task is to identify the value of each letter.
  • Digit restrictions are important: every letter must represent a single digit from 0 to 9.

4. Divisibility Tests

  • Divisibility by 10: a number is divisible by 10 if its unit digit is zero.
  • Divisibility by 5: a number is divisible by 5 if its unit digit is 0 or 5.
  • Divisibility by 2: a number is divisible by 2 if its unit digit is zero or an even number.
