  • A parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.
  • In a parallelogram, opposite sides are equal.

  • A rectangle is a quadrilateral with all angles 90°.
  • A rectangle also has opposite sides equal and opposite sides parallel.
  • A parallelogram with any angle 90° is a rectangle.

  • A parallelogram with adjacent sides equal is a rhombus.
  • A parallelogram whose diagonals intersect at 90° is a rhombus.
