Percent and Conversions

r% = r/100

x% of Q = (x/100) × Q

Fraction to percent: multiply by 100 and attach %

Percent to fraction: drop % and divide by 100

Decimal to percent: move decimal two places right and attach %

Profit, Loss, and Discount

Profit% = (Profit/CP) × 100

Loss% = (Loss/CP) × 100

SP = ((100 + Profit%)/100) × CP

SP = ((100 - Loss%)/100) × CP

Discount = (Discount%/100) × MP

Simple Interest

I = (P × R × T)/100

A = P + I = P(1 + RT/100)

P = (I × 100)/(R × T)

R = (I × 100)/(P × T)

T = (I × 100)/(P × R)

Compound Interest

A = P(1 + R/100)^n

CI = A - P = P[(1 + R/100)^n - 1]

A = P(1 + R/200)^(2n)

A = P(1 + R/400)^(4n)

Vn = V0(1 + r/100)^n
