1. Electric Current and Charge Flow

  • Lightning is an electric discharge between two clouds or between a cloud and Earth.

  • Potential difference is the work done by electric force on unit positive charge to move it from one point to another.

  • The potential difference between the ends of a conductor is directly proportional to the current passing through it at constant temperature.
  • George Simon Ohm established this law.
