1. Earth's age, plate movement, and geological divisions of India
- Earth is approximately 4600 million years old.
- The Indian plate was south of the equator millions of years ago and was once larger.

2. The Peninsular Block
- The Peninsular Block is one of the three geological divisions of India.
- It is formed mainly of very ancient gneisses and granites.
