Jijabai

Jijabai was Shivaji's mother and a pious woman who inculcated religious fervor, uprightness, honesty, and sincerity in her son. She played a crucial role in shaping Shivaji's character and his dream of establishing an independent kingdom. Tarabai was Rajaram's wife who ruled as regent, Yesubai was Sambhaji's wife, and Saibai was one of Shivaji's wives.

Borphukan (Commander-in-chief)

Lachit became the commander-in-chief of the Ahom army, a post called 'Borphukan', so he was known as Lachit Borphukan. He conducted strict training for the army, introduced modern warfare weapons, and led successful campaigns against the Mughals including recapturing the Guwahati fort. Raja means king, Sipaha-Salar was a Mughal governor position, and Diwan was a finance minister.

Battle of Haldighati

The Battle of Haldighati is considered the most significant battle in medieval Indian history involving Akbar. It was fought between Akbar's forces under Generals Mansingh and Asaf Khan against Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar. The Mughal army was victorious in this battle. The Battle of Panipat refers to multiple battles not specifically involving Akbar as the main participant, Khanwa was fought by Babur, and Talikota involved the Deccan Sultanates against Vijayanagara.

Farid

Sher Shah's original name was Farid. He belonged to the Sur clan of Afghanistan and was initially called Sher Khan Farid. He earned the name 'Sher Khan' after killing a tiger single-handedly while working under Bahar Khan Lohani. Later he became known as Sher Shah when he established the Sur dynasty. Bahlul was a Lodhi ruler, Ibrahim was the last Lodhi sultan defeated by Babur, and Mahmud was a common name among various rulers.
