  • Tropical humid climates exist between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
  • The overhead sun and the Inter Tropical Convergence Zone make tropical humid climates hot and humid.
  • Annual range of temperature is very low in tropical humid climates and rainfall is high.

4. Climate change through time

  • Present climate type may have prevailed over the last 10,000 years with minor and occasional wide fluctuations.
  • The Rajasthan desert experienced wet and cool climate around 8,000 B.C.
  • The period 3,000 to 1,700 B.C. had higher rainfall.
