कथायां भोजननियमाः, आयुर्वेदस्य महत्त्वं, वाग्भटस्य विवेकः, तथा भगवान् धन्वन्तरेः शुकरूपेण आगमनं प्रमुखतया वर्ण्यते। शुकस्य ‘कोऽरुक्’ इति ध्वनिः प्रश्नस्वरः इव भवति, यस्यार्थः ‘कः स्वस्थः नीरोगः वा वर्तते’ इति। वाग्भटः तस्य उत्तरं हितभुक्, मितभुक्, ऋतुभुक् इति त्रिभिः सूत्रैः दत्तवान्। अनेन आहारस्य प

भगवान् धन्वन्तरिः वैद्यानां ज्ञानपरीक्षणाय शुकरूपं धृत्वा
