What to Focus On

  • A point has no size — only position.
  • A line segment has two endpoints.
  • A line extends infinitely in both directions.
  • Acute < 90°
  • Right = 90°
  • Obtuse > 90° but < 180°
  • Always align the protractor's center with the vertex.
  • Use the correct scale — inner or outer — depending on the direction of the angle.
  • Construct angles step by step using a ruler and protractor.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

All triangles with a 90° angle are called equilateral triangles.

The largest angle in a triangle is always opposite the smallest side.

A protractor measures only up to 90°, so angles above 90° cannot be measured directly.
