  • Examples include speed and time, men and days for a fixed work, and horses and days for fixed food.
  • For inverse variation, more of one quantity gives less of the other.

  • The man will earn ₹1,120 in 28 days.
  • 0.75 m cloth costing ₹45 means 1 m costs ₹60.
