  • स्वरसन्धेः भेदाः — दीर्घसन्धिः, गुणसन्धिः, वृद्धिसन्धिः, यण् सन्धिः, अयादिसन्धिः, पूर्वरूपसन्धिः, प्रकृतिभावः, पररूपसन्धिः।
  • दीर्घसन्धौ सवर्णस्वरयोः योगे दीर्घैकादेशः भवति।

व्यञ्जनसन्धिः

  • व्यञ्जनसन्धिः व्यञ्जनस्य स्वरेण वा अन्यव्यञ्जनेन सह सामीप्ये भवति।
  • व्यञ्जनसन्धेः भेदाः — श्चुत्वम्, ष्टुत्वम्, जश्त्वम्, चत्वम्, अनुस्वारः, परसवर्णः, लत्वम्, छत्वम्, च्-आगमः, र्-लोपः, न्-ण्-भावः।
  • श्चुत्वे स् वा तवर्गः श् वा चवर्गेण सह योगे श् वा चवर्गभावः।
