1. Basic Geometric Ideas
- A point shows location and is represented by capital letters such as A, B, and C.
- A line extends infinitely on both sides and can be named using two points on it or by a small letter such as l or m.
- A line segment is the finite part between two points and is the shortest path between those two points.
2. Angles and Their Types
- An angle is formed by two rays starting from a common point called the vertex.
- Angles are named using three letters, with the vertex in the middle, such as angle AOB.
- Angles are measured in degrees.
3. Pairs of Angles
- Adjacent angles share a common vertex and a common side.
- Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees.
- Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees.
4. Transversal and Parallel Lines
