सन्धिः पदानां मेलनेन नवीनरूपनिर्माणस्य नियमः अस्ति। अत्र दीर्घ-सन्धिः, गुण-सन्धिः, वृद्धि-सन्धिः, यण्-सन्धिः च उदाहरणैः सहितं स्पष्टं दृश्यते। छात्राः नामसंयोजनद्वारा सन्धेः प्रयोगं, अनुच्छेदात् उदाहरणचयनं च अभ्यासेन अवगच्छन्ति।

पदानां वा नाम्नां मेलनेन एकं नवीनं

पदानां वा नाम्नां मेलनेन एकं नवीनं रूपं जायते। नामसंयोजने अपि एषः नियमः दृश्यते।

नीरजः आदित्यः च संयुज्य नीरजादित्यः इति

नीरजः आदित्यः च संयुज्य नीरजादित्यः इति रूपं भवति। समानस्वरयोः मेलने दीर्घस्वरः दृश्यते।
